RTO form 30 is used as an application for intimation and transfer of ownership of a motor vehicle. This form has to be submitted to the registering authority of your area. After submission of RTO form 30, your registering authority will record vehicle transfer details in Form 24. RTO form 30 consists Three parts, among them, one part has to be filled by the transferor(owner of the vehicle), transferee(Person who is purchasing the vehicle) and financier ( in case if the vehicle is in finance).

This form requires details like name of the transferor, address of the transferor and registration number of the vehicle. Similarly, the details of the transferee are also required. If the vehicle is in finance or hire purchase or lease agreement they respective financier signature is also required.
Address proofs of the transferor and transferee have to be submitted along with RTO form 30. After submission of the RTO form 30 to your registering authority, they will send a copy to your financier. If the vehicle is not in finance or finance completed then don’t send it to the financier.
