Student bank accounts have limitations on deposits and account balances. In order to remove those limits they need to convert their accounts to normal accounts. Student can convert their accounts to normal accounts after 18 years of age (or) upon completion of their education.
Most students convert their student accounts to general accounts when they get employed. In order to change your account type you have to write a request letter to the bank manager of your branch.
